Summarizing relevant data, in animal models, research has shown that Aniracetam can significantly reduce the memory impairment induced by norepinephrine receptor and choline receptor antagonists to a certain extent, and to some extent alleviate the severity of memory loss induced by electroconvulsive shock or cerebral ischemic events. In both the maze test and the passive escape experiment conducted, the application of Aniracetam could reduce the memory impairment induced by scopolamine.
In both active and passive escape tests, Aniracetam can reduce the degree of memory impairment caused by cerebral ischemia or hypoxia. In this test conducted, Aniracetam had the same efficacy as nilacetam, but was more effective than piracetam. In the active and passive escape tests conducted, the memory impairment induced by electroconvulsive shock was reduced, and the effect was better than that of piracetam but weaker than that of filacetam.
