Mirogabalin Besylate API CAS 1138245-21-2

Mirogabalin besylate API CAS 1138245-21-2 is a novel analgesic product belonging to the Gabapentin class. It exerts its analgesic effect by inhibiting calcium-mediated neurotransmitter release within voltage-gated calcium channels (VGCCs), particularly through binding to the α2δ-1 subunit. It has a high affinity for both α2δ-1 and α2δ-2 subunits, which are associated with analgesic efficacy (α2δ-1) and central nervous system side effects (α2δ-2). A notable feature of Mirogabalin besylate is its long dissociation half-life (over 11 hours on α2δ-1), which is much longer than that of pregabalin (approximately 1.5 hours on both α2δ-1 and α2δ-2). This property is believed to contribute to its potent and long-lasting analgesic effect while reducing the side effects associated with Gabapentin-like products.
