How is Proglumide API powder produce? 

The production of Proglumide API powder involves multiple steps, and the following is the production process:
Synthesis of Benzoylglutamic Acid: In a 250mL four necked flask, sodium bicarbonate and purified water are added, stirred and dissolved, and sodium glutamate is added in batches. When the temperature is raised to 40 ℃, benzoyl chloride is slowly added dropwise using a constant pressure dropping funnel, and the temperature is controlled to continue stirring for 3 hours. Stop heating, stir and cool to room temperature, adjust the pH value to 1-2 with 20% hydrochloric acid solution, precipitate a large amount of solid, filter, wash the filter cake with purified water, and spin evaporate the filtrate to 1/3 of the remaining volume. Place it in the refrigerator for cooling and crystallization, filter, combine the solids, dry, and obtain benzoylglutamic acid.
Synthesis of Benzoyl Glutamic Anhydride: Benzoyl Glutamic Acid are added to a 100mL three necked flask, stirred and heated to 60 ℃, kept at room temperature for 2.5 hours, stirred and cooled to room temperature, then placed in a refrigerator to cool and crystallize, filtered, washed, and vacuum dried to obtain Benzoyl Glutamic Anhydride.
Synthesis of Propionamide: In a 100mL four necked flask, di-n-propylamine and purified water were added. When the ice salt water was cooled to 3 ℃, benzoyl glutamate anhydride was added in batches and stirred for 1 hour. HAc was added dropwise until the pH value was about 5, and a large amount of white solid was precipitated. Then, the reaction was carried out at around 10 ℃ for 2 hours, filtered, washed, and dried to obtain Proglumide API powder.
