Fexofenadine hydrochloride, is an H1 receptor antagonist, with high efficacy, small side effects, rapid action and other characteristics. Clinically, it is used for the treatment of acute or chronic urticaria, allergic rhinitis, insect bite dermatitis, eczema, pruritus and other symptoms.
Fexofenadine Hcl Usp has been shown to inhibit the release of histamine by mast cells in vivo and in vitro, and Terfenadine is more selective. It can significantly reduce the expression of adhesion molecules between epithelial cells and reduce the release of interleukin-6 in a concentration-dependent manner. The release of interleukin-8, granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factors and soluble adhesion molecules induced by eosinophils was significantly reduced. The histamine-induced wind mass and flushing can be significantly inhibited. Because it does not easily penetrate the blood-brain barrier, it has no sedative and anticholinergic effect.
