Bosentan

Bosentan Powder is A non-peptide non-selective endothelin receptor blocker, a highly substituted pyrimidine derivative or a competitive blocker of endothelin 1 (ET-1) receptors that binds to endothelin receptor A(ETA) in blood vessels and endothelin receptor B(ETB) in brain, epithelial and smooth muscle cells.

 

For the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) in patients with dyspnea at rest or during light exercise (functional status score Ⅲ or Ⅳ) and for the improvement of exercise endurance and related symptoms.

Adverse events that occurred in less than 1% of patients treated with this product were: Increased alkaline phosphatase, anaphylactic shock, anorexia, ascites, asthma, atrioventricular block, increased blood urea, bronchospasm, cardiac arrest, central nervous system inhibition, cerebrovascular disease, chest pain (non-cardiac), prolonged coagulation time, shortened coagulation time, conjunctivitis, cystitis, dehydration, dermatitis, attention disorder, dry skin, duodenal ulcer, dysuria, Ecchymosis, eczema, etc.
