It is metabolized by CYP3A4 in the liver. In vitro experiments show that CYP3A4 inhibitors such as ritonavir, ketoconazole, verapamil, diltiazem, cimetidine, and ciprofloxacin can increase the plasma concentration of moderate tazobactam, but there is no pharmacological and pharmacokinetic interaction with tamsulosin, terazosin, warfarin.
