Troxerutin is a mixture of hydroxyethyl rutin obtained by hydroxyethylation of rutin. It is a yellow, yellowish green or light brownish-yellow powder, odorless and slightly salty, hygroscopic, and its main hydrolysis product is hyperoside. Tricrutin is a semi-synthetic flavonoid compound produced by hydroxyethylation of rutin. It can inhibit the aggregation of red blood cells and platelets, and at the same time increase the blood oxygen content, improve microcirculation and promote the formation of new blood vessels.
