Naphazoline hCL Powder CAS 550-99-2 is a sympathomimetic amine that stimulates alpha-adrenergic receptors in the arterioles of the conjunctiva (in the eye) or nasal mucosa. This stimulation leads to vasoconstriction, or narrowing of the blood vessels. The result is a reduction in conjunctival congestion, redness, and itching.

Naphazoline hydrochloride has a strong vasoconstrictive and blood pressure-raising effect, and it has an inhibitory effect on the central nervous system. By constricting local blood vessels, it can play an anti-inflammatory and analgesic role in the local lesion tissues with inflammation, and can also eliminate congestion caused by fatigue or other reasons. 

Relieve eye congestion: Often used in eye drops, it reduces red blood vessels, swelling and itching in the eyes caused by allergies, inflammation or fatigue by constricting the blood vessels in the eyes.
