Introduction of Prilocaine：

Prilocaine powder is a White to off-white powder. Melting point is 37-38℃, boiling point is 159-162℃(0.133kPa), and refractive index (ND20) is 1.5299. Its hydrochloride is a white crystalline powder. The melting point is 167-168℃. Soluble in water and ethanol, slightly soluble in chloroform. It tastes sour, bitter, and odorless.
It is an amino amide. Prilocaine is a Na, K-ATPase inhibitor. Prilocaine has a neurotoxic effect.
