Equol powder is a metabolite of soybean and an important isoflavone of human beings. It specifically binds to 5α-DHT and has moderate affinity for recombinant estrogen receptor ERβ.Equol is a kind of hydroxyisoflavone.
Equol powder is an agonist of estrogen receptor α (ERα) and ERβ, and an active metabolite of polyketide isoflavone daidzein. It is (S)- equol, which is formed by daidzein through intestinal microflora, induces er α and er β-mediated gene transcription (ec50 is 85 and 65 nM respectively) in HEC-1 cells expressing human receptors.

Application
