What are the drug interactions of this product?
Cisplatin powder is one of the most commonly used drugs in combined chemotherapy because of its wide anticancer spectrum, strong effect, synergistic effect with a variety of antitumor drugs, and no cross-resistance.
(1) Combined with aminoglycoside antibiotics, amphotericin B, or cephalothin, it has a nephrotoxic superposition effect. (2) Methotrexate and bleomycin are mainly excreted by the kidney. The renal damage caused by this product will delay the excretion of the above two drugs, resulting in increased nephrotoxicity. (3) Combined with probenecid, it can cause hyperuricemia. (4) Combined with chloramphenicol, furosemide, or ethnic acid, it can increase the ototoxicity of this product. (5) Anti-femoral drugs can mask the symptoms such as tinnitus and vertigo caused by this product. (6) It is effective for reproductive system tumors. The combined chemotherapy of CDDP and ADM can achieve a better curative effect in more than 40% of ovarian cancer; Combined chemotherapy with DDP, BLM, and VLB, the effective rate and cure rate of non-spermatogonial testicular cancer were 80% and 60% respectively. What are the adverse reactions and side effects of this product?
After using this product, 25% ~ 30% of patients developed azotemia. Large dose and continuous medication can produce serious and lasting nephrotoxicity, such as renal tubular swelling, degenerative lesions, elevated serum urea ammonia, decreased creatinine clearance, hematuria, proteinuria, and even uremia. There may be mild to moderate bone marrow toxicity, and the degree depends on the dosage of cisplatin. Anemia is common and can have a hemolytic effect. There may be severe nausea and vomiting, which often occurs within 1h after the start of medication and lasts for 8 ~ 12h. Dexamethasone, ondansetron, and diazepam can be used to reduce the reaction. The malignant nephrotoxic reactions can occur, which are easy to occur in those who are not given hydration and diuretic treatment. Combined with nephrotoxic antibiotics can increase the risk of acute renal failure. Common high-frequency hearing loss, occasional obvious hearing loss, and rare tinnitus.
