What are the adverse reactions of Carboplatin?

(1) Bone marrow suppression: It is dose-limited toxicity. Long-term high-dose administration can reduce platelets, hemoglobin, and white blood cells, which usually occurs 14~21 days after administration, and recovers 3~4 weeks after stopping the redness.

(2) Gastrointestinal reaction: loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, which is milder than DDP.

(3) At a conventional dose, it has no obvious effect on liver, kidney, and heart function.

(4) Adverse reactions such as neurotoxicity, ototoxicity, alopecia, and dizziness are lower than those of DDP, and allergic reactions are occasionally seen.
